~ Working with @hannahxsanderson​ ~

A couple of weeks had past since his run in with Hannah. There were some conflicting feelings now that he had finally processed what had happened. She was back in his life. They were living in the same town. They would be going to the same stores, same restaurants, and seeing the same people. As much as he wanted to try to be friends with her Jake still felt some uncertainty about the situation. To avoid thinking about their inevitable run in around town he spent most of his time at work. Little did he know, work would be the place were the two would see each other again. 

Jake was walking around one of the exhibits, working on one of his checklists when he heard a familiar voice. His green hues glanced around the crowd until they landed on Hannah. She was surrounded by a group of children who all had a twinkle of fascination in their eyes. He watched her interact with her students and he saw how much passion she had. The sight was one that he couldn’t stop himself from smiling at. With his clipboard tucked under his arm, Jake leaned up against one of the posts and watched as she interacted with her class.

~ Floating with @hannahxsanderson​ ~​

After their last conversation things were slightly better with Hannah. Their friendship was somewhat back despite their awkward conversation due to a drunken kiss. They had made plans to hang out during the Cherry Blossom Festival but Jake found himself busy helping out with the float. He had enjoyed working with his hands so he jumped on the opportunity to help build something. Hannah was helping with a different float so he sent her a text to come see him after she finished working. When he saw her out of the corner of his eye he shot a smile her way. “Welcome to the best float.” He opened his arms, showing off what him and the rest of the group was building. “Are you jealous Sanderson?”
