Yoooo I just saw your thingy about cups and cooking in the UK, and I get your struggles. I love cooking but recipes that are in cups are always so finickity. BUT I recently bought a set of Joseph Joseph Nest Cups for like ~£8 and they have saved my life and they are so cute, I would deffo recommend them if you're fed up of estimating how much a cup is!!

End of semester summary

Ten things I'm glad I've done:

Not had any major breakdowns

Made some really fucking awesome friends

Attended pretty much every AltSoc event there's been

Haven't accidentally starved yet

Am basically within budget

All my clothes are clean

I haven't lost/broken anything majorly important like my phone, laptop, keys, or watch

Got my coursework in on time and complete with sufficient references

Haven't killed my plant

Have sorted out my housing for next year and it's rad

Ten things I wish I'd done better:

Emptied my bins more often (this is actually the one part of "being independent and looking after myself" that I am consistently failing at)

Going to more lectures/seminars.. especially German grammar

Spending more time with the flat

Keeping in contact with Cambridge friends better

Actually started making youtube videos... 

Not spending much that one time I went shopping with Sarah

More knitting.. I did let that slip

Watching more Supernatural, FLO

Keeping more up to date with all of my work

Staying physically healthy.. walking more, eating less crap

If I were you, I’d try to nap as much as possible; you won’t get an uninterrupted night’s sleep if you’re vomiting so much, so napping will help you get some sleep under your belt. Plus, you’ll probably vomit less if you’re lying still for hours.

I took a nap several hours ago, and in the mean time have been reclined in a chair. Been dosing off occasionally. I've been trying to move as little as possible but it's hard. Especially since I need to keep hydrated. I have decided that I am never leaving my house again. XD

Thanks for letting me know! I think it's something to do with the music, so I'll just have to take it down temporarily :)
