It was a real honour and a massive tick off my bucket list to work for the New York Times last week!  I created roughs and a final image in around 5 hours. Here’s the black and white print image and the slightly extended colour version for online.

Very happy to be showing a couple of new pieces of work at the fantastic Tokyobike NYC this month.

“Eye Spy” started life in my sketchbook during a recent trip to the city. As much as biking is a great form of transport - for me it is also about exploring, slowing down and seeing more. More chances to spy on you 👀.

I drew the lovely Jane and Richard from Maraid for their site.

Their interests included typography, mid century design, photography and sound art to name a few and I tried to get those references in there too.
