I began to rewatch Hannibal, starting from Season 1, and only there I realized how much Will as a character changed, not only in his act and personality but as in his appearance. Probably the reason I didn’t recognize that at the first row, was because it was so well built up, and so slow, that it seemed natural, but if we look close to it, I kind of found a pattern that I found interesting. 

So it seems to me, that the more Will finds out about himself, and the closer he gets to Hannibal, the more he changes to be like him, in a sense. In season two, Will starts to dress more elegantly, his hair is more well made, and he doesn’t stutter anymore, he has no problem with human interaction. He seems calm, collected and confident, regardless of his situation, and he engages in serious manipulations towards not only Hannibal but others. So we could say, he starts to play Hannibal’s game he is pretty good at it. 

In season 3, after Hannibal gives himself up,  Bedelia basically becomes Will’s therapist for a little while, and if you notice, they both Hannibal and Will went to her, to talk about the other one. In the end, when Bedelia asks Will if he ‘aches for” Hannibal, he doesn’t give an answer, but we can already see that right then and there, Will probably realized that he actually does, even if he doesn’t want to, and the same was with Hannibal when he realized, that he actually does want to befriend Will even if it’s inconvenient in his life. 

So yeah, I just thought I’d throw this out there since it’s been on my mind.
