Thanks to intellectual property grievances and shady business practices, this appearance at the World Character Summit in Hanyu in November 2018 was Chiitan’s last at the big yuru-chara events.

Nyaozane is the mascot of Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture; and some sort of cat. The rugby gear was a recent addition, as Kumagaya was one of the host cities to the Rugby World Cup in 2019.

Gozuccho is a cross between a swan and Mount Goza, and is the mascot of Agano city, Niigata Prefecture.

Zombear (the blue one) is a stuffed toy (from Hokkaido) that has been looking for its owner for over 70 years; and Gloomy (pink) is a "naughty" grizzly bear by artist Mori Chack.

Mito-chan is the mascot of Mito city, Ibaraki Prefecture, and resembles local historical figure Mito Kōmon but with a head made of straw - which was traditionally used for making natto (fermented soybeans). They don’t normally have whiskers...
