While waiting for my uber last night, I was told that there's an ongoing exhibit at our office building's lobby. Waited til 5pm to check it out, just in time for the scheduled guided tour. Joey Velasco's paintings were amazing, gritty, moving. Equally touching are Joey's reflections on the life of each child whose stories inspired him in painting Hapag ng Pag-asa. #nourishmentforthesoul #joeyvelasco #hapagngpagasa #hapagngpagibig (at Ateneo de Manila University)
