I have a longer post written but this disgusting anon ask doesn’t deserve it I’ve decided, so I’ll make my point quickly (and hopefully clearly)
one. I don’t really care about people copying my work
I do this for fun and for me. playing detective to find out if the account you’ve accused of plagirism in my inbox is truly guilty is not fun for me
plagiarism is a real problem, don’t get me wrong, but I just don’t have the time to look into it. I appreciate you looking out for me, I hate that anyone out there is doing it maliciously, I truly hope it’s accidental or not truly plagrism, just similarity.
but either way, I really don’t care when it comes to my fanfic. this isn’t a free pass to copy my work, it’s still wrong, I just don’t have the time to put towards it. it’s just my hobby and I’d elaborate if you asked but i feel like I’ve made my point.
two. don’t ever use that language in my inbox or about any other writer on here ever again
I won’t post it bc it has no place on my blog but it was degrading and abusive and no one has a right to talk about anyone else like that, even if they are plagiarizing me (tho I would guess they aren’t)
I don’t know how much clearer I can make that, and I also don’t know what I did on this account that made you think this was a place for anything besides positivity, if you know, let me know bc I want to change it
I never want anything like this to ever happen again.
I’ve gotten hate before and I’ve got a thick skin, it’s not bad for me but this message really shook me up despite not being directed at me.
and if I can make any part of this clearer, please tell me. I just wanted to get my point across quickly and clearly so if I missed the mark, please let me know.
