Minnie was sitting on a park bench idly swiping through the dating apps on her phone. Weeks of ghosting, first dates that went no where, of getting excited about someone just for them to unmatch before even saying hello. Eventually she sighed and put her phone away.

She turned to the person sitting next to her on the bench.

"Have you ever been in love? How did it happen? Like how did you meet that person?"

It was hot in the garage. Punishingly so. Outside it was not too bad. He assumed it might be a nice spring day. The garage was a different story. Several cars lay within, in various Frankenstein-esque states as Arturo worked on repairing then. He was set to start Law School soon, and he needed all the mechanic jobs he could get. He was quiet, but incredible with a set of tools and few hours alone, so asking for overtime had never been much of a problem.

Arturo heard a voice call out for something. At least he thought he did, it was hard to hear over the music Arturo had playing. He pushed himself out from under the car he had been working on, and sat up from the roller board when he saw a person was in fact, at the wide open front of the garage.

"What can I do for ya?"

"Evangeline's is taking reservations for Valentine's day! Everyone who comes will get a complimentary dessert, so, make sure you tell your friends."

Myra loathed to be here at this blood drive. Even if it wasn't so unbearably kitsch - Drac, really - she had to fight every moment not to roll her eyes at how on the nose Borovsky was. Plastering on an uncharacteristic smile, she said, "It's for such a good cause, isn't it?" @happieststarters

Sabrina continued looking around the park trees. She got down on her hands and knees to look around some rocks, and under some benches.

"Are you sure it was a snapping turtle? They normally wouldn't come all the way out there, with all the people and all---but if one is here It'd definitely be good to find it!"

Fig looked up from the wood working table out at Gepetto's, where she currently was working on cutting pieces of wood with the large buzz saw. She had taken off her thick, clear goggles to speak, but her smock was still covered in saw dust.

"Yeah, I can fix that." Fig said. "You want me to come to your place to check it out or--?"

He had promised his mother that he would stay out of trouble. Especially at his big age. He could not help it though, maybe stealing car parts was a thing of the past, but art was....art. Even if the police did not particularly agree.

Jim jumped a bit when he heard footsteps behind him. He was in a secluded area slightly into the woods, where there stood a long abandoned, small building. The kind that had plenty of ghost stories back in town.

Jim stood there with several cans of spray paint, before an illustration he had started. He turned to face the person who had walked up behind him, and lowered the small mask that covered his nose and mouth.

"Didn't expect to see you, or anyone really, all the way out here. Guess you caught me." Jim raised his brow. "You out ghost hunting or something? Re-enacting the Blair Witch Project?"

As Autumn was settling in, the mid day air was warm yet accented with a delightful breeze. It was gentle and cool, crisp enough to feel like a welcome partner to the warm sun. Arista sat on a blanket on top of the grass at the park. The leaves had started changing, and slowly were beginning to fall. Her ferrets laid in a soft bedded carrier beside her. It was left open, as their little harnesses connected them to long, brightly colored leashes Arista has looped gentle around her wrist. "Free Tarot Readings"- read a sign she placed before her blanket. Arista had made sure to make the writing large, using beautifully blended markers, and plenty of glitter.

She shuffled her deck before her, and waited for anyone to stop by.
