Ok, so I decided to make a happy moments chain. Pick a memory, any memory you want, that makes your happy: funny one, heart-warming one, silly one etc. I'll start 🙂
So I was in Taizé (it's a village in France where people from all around a world come to pray with Brothers of Taizé) for summer with my sister. We stayed there longer than one week, and it's a custom that you pay for one-week stay and the rest is payed by the Brothers but in the exchange you help with different tasks such as monitoring peace, making dinner, washing dishes, cleaning up the village etc.
One week my job was to help at the prayers, silencing people and making sure everyone is focused. So here I was, slowly walking down the corridor, hushing people here and there. Suddenly one girl rushed toward me, hugged me and then left with a smile to join her friends. I was shocked, puzzled why she did that, until I realised what T-shirt I was wearing that day. It was a simple, white one with a ribbon and one sentence: HUG ME NOW
She must have seen it and decided to go with the flow, fulfilling a wish written on a shirt.
Must I add I wore a goofy smile through all the prayer that day? 🙂🙂
