One day Im gonna die. A certian group of people will be happy about the concept of me dying: one less queer, neurodivergent, immigrant POC in this world.

But the people who know me, the actual person, will be sad about it. The actual people Ive worked with and talked to and loved and interacted with will miss what I personally have brought into this world we all share. Maybe my art will be displayed or published, maybe one of my papers will inspire future kids to study bugs.

I think thats probably one of the meanings of life. To have your own name tied to the brightness you created in the world, not the harm you caused with the power you had. Ill never be in history books the way some public figures will. But 100 years from now, I hope someone holds one of my little clay giraffes in their hands and smiles.
