Last week I got myself a small Epipremnum Manjula! Around here, they are a little harder to get by, so I was thrilled I got to pick up these rooted clippings after a lady offered them on one of the facebook plant groups.

I plan on buying a little heating mat to keep my collection of baby plants warm during the upcoming winter months. Temperatures in the windowsills drop heavily during the nights and I have nowhere else to place them if I’d to keep adequate light conditions. I am not planning on losing them after a whole years season of growth.

POTHOS MANJULA HAPPY LEAF 💙

4th June 2019. New baby arrived!! The pothos family is getting bigger. It bothers me a bit that I can’t already plant him properly in a nice pot, but I wanna keep the pot size small until he’s developed roots. In Sweden this goes by the name “happy leaf” more commonly than “manjula” for some reason.

My “Happy Leaf” has been on his moss pole since July 18 and he was 23 cm, since I have put one more cutting into the pot as I try to have fewer pots about. He’s now, August 29, 35 cm tall.

Of my moss poles this is the one that has done best (except for the ones that has a watering string), he’s got some really nice moss as well and not that bad brand.

Repotted “Happy Leaf” / “Manjula” with moss pole. The velcro tie is not pretty but it’s so easy. I did fill out the pole some more but I didn’t like that brand of moss, ugh. Oh well, lesson learned. I hope he will like it.
