bigThank yoouuu, dear @giraffyness for tagging me!!! ♥ I’m not going to do the songs in order though, because I love all of them very much and ugh, I don’t want to choose which one I like the most.
1. SS301 "Pain”
I l o v e that song so much. I fell for it the moment I heard the the first cords (?) and I’ve listened to it a lot last year, but I never got tired of it, which is miraculous, because I always grow tired of songs when I listen to them too often.
2. Davichi “Beside Me”
These girls’ voices are so damn pretty and I’ve probably watched every performance they had and had my mind blown every single time. And their stages are so beautiful and everything is wonderful and I just love this song.
3. AOA “Crazy Boy”
I’ve been a little fangirl of AOA’s music since “Heart Attack” (that song was great and I’m still delighted every time it starts playing on my playlist) and I wasn’t disappointed with “Good Luck” (great song, really), but “Crazy Boy” swept me off my feet. It’s my (not so) official summer song of 2016.
4. BTS “Blood Sweat & Tears”
I don’t know if that counts, because I’ve only recently (read: a few days ago) discovered this song (and I still haven’t watched the MV, ehmm, yeah), but I fell so hard. It is so pretty and I love the music, even though I’m normally not that big a fan of BTS’ music. Which is why I was pleasantly surprised that I liked this so much.
5. Jonghyun “White T-Shirt”
YOU’RE SO ROCK ‘N’ ROLL. This song is my jam. Considering that I only listened to that album because a friend wanted to know my opinion about it .... Imagine I would’ve missed out on the awesomeness that is this song. I don’t even want to think about it.
6. Heechul & Min Kyunghoon “Sweet Dream”
I can remember how excited and nervous I was before that song came out because I had so many expectations and was afraid they wouldn’t be met; but then this wonderful collaboration happened and all my worries were swept away. The song was great and the MV brought me so much joy. Just thinking about it makes me feel all fluffy and happy.
7. Black Pink “Playing With Fire”
When Black Pink debuted they were often compared with 2NE1, and since I never really was a fan of 2NE1′s music, I didn’t care less about that group. But this song (also “Boombayah” and “Whistle” - both great songs) ended up being on my phone (a friend sent it in a group chat) and I listened to it, when it came on my playlist and I liked it. And I still like it. It’s one of my most played songs, still.
8. MAMAMOO “Décalcomanie”
I’m not that much of a fan of Mamamoo’s music, but this one kinda caught me off guard. I don’t know why I chose this one from all of their discography to fall for, since it’s just as “Mamamoo” as their other songs, but it got to me. And it makes me feel good :’)
9. NCT U “Without You”
Remember when I had promised myself not to fall for a baby group and because I knew that NCT would only break my heart, because they’re likely to suffer since SM is a shithole of an entertainment? But then this song happened and the rest was history. I love this song and I love this group of smol, little babies.
10. Taemin “Mystery Lover”
I can’t put my finger on it, but this song sounds sooo familiar, I don’t know how. Maybe it was the soundtrack of one of my dreams? Who knows. It’s like having a déjà vu with a song. A déjà écouté. Anyway, I like how dreamy and slightly seductive this song is. It makes me think of a soft horror movie.
Whew, that was way too hard. There were so many good songs last year, and I feel bad for having to leave out so many of them (also I can’t get rid of the feeling that I forgot The Ultimate Favourite Song, but well). Also I ignored all Kdrama OSTs that were released 2016, because then I would’ve struggled endlessly.
