If you say “I love you”, more frequently, it will not gain more truth. The loss of meaning cannot be made up, by the frequency of which it is told. Not to mean “I love you”, while saying it, only decreases its worth, betrays hopes and breaks trust… the trust in love. One meaningless “I love you” is enough to make one doubtful of every wholeheartedly felt, “I love you”.
So be sure to not throw it around, as any other word. Be prepared to make it meaningful and let it last: I love you… Meaning, that is what counts.
