I just read about the experience you had where a strange bunny figure tucked you into bed, and I have a strange memory concerning the "Easter Bunny" too. It was late at night, I believe either the night before Easter or the night of, and I was looking out my living room window to the yard. Then I saw the back of a large white bunny, similar to how the typical Easter Bunny costumes look. Upright with a bow around its neck. But what was weird is that I could see the rear end of a taxi (1)
parked in front of our garage. The bunny then proceeded to get into the back seat of the yellow taxi, and then the car pulled forward out of sight (our garage blocked the rest of the view) but the thing is, I lived on a dead end street with trees everywhere, and the way the taxi was facing, it would’ve had to either back out, or pull around. It pulled forward like it was going to turn around, but it never left our street. I never saw the taxi leave. Its like it just disappeared into thin air
Creepy Easter Bunny stories will always fuck me up because of what happened that night and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever be over it. This Easter I saw someone walking down the street in an Easter Bunny costume on their way to an egg hunt and I felt so uncomfortable even though this shit happened over a decade ago lmao
Honestly I never know what to make of these things. In your case I would be worried it was some burglar or something, seems that would make a pretty decent disguise. Sneak around and if the kids woke up you could just pretend you were the Easter Bunny or whatever. Not sure what you’d do if the parents woke up, though. Maybe try and convince them, as well? But if the taxi just disappeared then who fucking knows. Maybe it really is the Easter Bunny and he’s just tired of walking by that point in the evening.
If anyone else wants to read my creepy Easter Bunny experience, enjoy!
