In a couple of days, I will celebrate my one-year #locaversary. It's been an interesting journey and we're still not done yet. I've gone from doubting to loving my loc journey. It's become more of a spiritual journey, which included self-healing. I know we typically say we are more than our hair. However, in this instance, this head of hair has helped me manage an array of emotions. I found love for myself in the most unconventional place, my hair. I am so much better mentally, physically, and spiritually because of this experience.
