The thunder shakes the cabin and you can’t help but look over at Rob Iras and wish you had been able to get back into town before the storm started. With each gust of wind and clap of thunder, it seems more and more likely that the cabin won’t make it through the storm.
You are trying to calm the animals with the help of the individuals who were in the shop with you when the storm hit. Ariel McAllister is attempting to calm the cats, while Meghan Fehr boards up the doors and windows while you work on calming down the dogs. It’s going to be a long and loud night. Hopefully the group you are stuck with are friendly, and conditions don’t worsen.
Knowing the storm was coming, you left the castle and went straight to the bookshop, preferring to be stuck with hundreds of books rather than the people of the court. It seems you were not alone in these thoughts however, and run into Izzy Moore, literally. You get up quickly and notice Izzy is still on the ground clutching her ankle and glaring up at you.
Hi there! We're a Disney RP that just opened for apps a couple weeks ago, and we'd love to get a review, if possible! Thank you for your time & your help!
I am incredibly sorry this is so late! I spread myself a little busy and didn't have the time to do this until now! Since you have sent this in I have decided to not do reviews but here is an opinion for you under the cut! Please note that these are my personal opinions and I fully encourage everyone to check things out and make their own.
Look
Starting off with the theme I'm going to say i'm a little torn, I love the colors and the graphics but the theme itself bothers me. The top navigation is a pain and I can hardly read any of the links or the plot the top bar. If it wasn't transparent I think it would be better. Looking through I can tell you've put a lot of thought into this roleplay, I like that you have a backstory for the town; However, There is so much to read and the font is so small that I can't stand to read any more than two or three lines. I did catch that Yensid is a name that you have added to something in your roleplay and while I understand how easy it is to think of, I find it concerning because Yensid is also the name of something else in a different disney roleplay that I happen to have assisted the admins of on many occasions.
Organization
I feel like your navigation could use a little reorganizing. Your before applying section should be above everything else. Before I had even seen that section I confused your "Laws" with a rules link and was incredibly confused. I did finally find the link but I was unable to read through them. The tiny light grey font on a white background was too difficult for me to read.
Plot
While the basic concept is not original you have managed to present it in a way that makes it your own! I was very intrigued when I read through your plot!!
Roles and Diversity
Now to talk about your roles. I have to say I was a little disappointed. One of the things I look for when I look through roles is diversity and I saw very little. Everyone is young. Even the characters that are meant to be much much older, I saw a lot of popular and over used fcs very little POC roles, out of all 43 that you have to offer I only counted 9.
Over all
All in all, I was very intrigued by your plot but between having to scramble with the theme and not being able to read very much; on top of the lack of diversity I was turned off by this roleplay.

I do wish you the best of luck with your roleplay. If there is anything that you would like to discuss or have clarified don't be afraid to message me!
Under the read more you can find a full review for happyneverafterrp:
What if the stories didn't happen the way we thought? What if, once upon a time, our favorite Disney characters were real people, trapped in a kingdom filled with nightmares?
Welcome to Happy Never After, a classic Disney role play with a dark twist. Welcome to a place where there are no happy endings.
Disclaimer: This is entirely my own opinion and is not reflected on any one else in the rph community. If you would like a further explanation on anything I have said or any assistance in resolving anything I’ve pointed out then just ask, I’d be happy to help.
First Impressions:
Your URL and icon are great indicators to the plot of your rp! The twist on the typical happy ever after shows roleplayers that this is probably a disney/fairytale rp and your icon shows exactly how dark your rp plot is going to be. I love the blood splatter you've painted on and I adore the ripped effect you have along the bottom! Then I clicked onto your page and, even though I've seen it before, it looks great! [10/10]
The Theme:
As I said in my first look review I love your theme! The black and white colour scheme works really well to show how dark your colour scheme and the addition of the red just makes the whole thing more thrilling. It matches the colour scheme of your icon as well, which is brilliant because a lot of people have rp themes that clash the colour scheme of their icons. The header graphic is really beautiful! I love how you have half a mirror sort of thing; it reminds me instantly of fairytale themes again and the graphics make me think of queens and royalty, which again links into a fairytale theme. Your page is really well organise and once again I've got nothing bad to say for this section, except that maybe the red on the sidebar boxes is too dark in comparison to the colour on your header and links. Other than that it looks amazing. [10/10]
The Plot:
The first thing I like about your plot is the way you have the once upon a time in the title section before having the rest of the text flowing underneath it. The actual plot itself is so good and it's so different to the typical disney roleplays that are in the tags at the moment. I've seen dark!disney roleplays but I've never seen anything quite like this! The plot is so detailed and I love how you have separate sections in your navigation about the laws and histor etc. It's great how much information is given here! [10/10]
FCs and Bios:
For starters I really like your bios! Having quotes is always a great idea in my opinion and then having all the quick information is a really good idea too. I am a big fan of your bios being split into three different sections. It's always great to have a history section but I think it's brilliant that you have a present section as well. So many rps leave that bit out, whereas I think it's such an important part. The idea of adding a personality on is always a good idea too and much better than just having a few traits. I also like how you have the png at the bottom to say whether the character is taken or not. One thing I would say is that you have a lot of overused FCs but as far as I can tell is that they're all ethnically correct. [9/10]
Other Things:
Your character graphics are really pretty and they match really well with your theme and your header. As admins you seem really active and very fair and nice as well, which is always good. I love your admin graphics too! They're so simple and in my opinion go much better with your theme than if you used a gif or something like that. [10/10]
Overall:
I don't think I've really had a single terrible thing to say about this rp. In my opinion this rp looks amazing and I wouldn't change a thing. [49/50]
Of course I do! It all depends on what you’re interested in:
Fandom RPG: Happy Never After is honestly the best Disney RPG around. I used to RP with them and the admins are so sweet & professional. I really want to join them again if one of my RPs dies down. Now it should come as no surprise that I’m a huge Shameless fan. The Southsiders are super welcoming and all of them are big fans of the show and the best part is that the ships haven’t taken over. Everyone talks to everyone! I’m Mandy, so if you’re interested come love on us!
Hollywood RPG: I kinda really hate normal Hollywood RPGs so I really don’t have any to recommend, but if you’re interested in the celebrity life style with OCs I have some ideas. In Vogue is honestly wonderfully built and I gave them a review if you’d like to read that first.Shameful promotion, I also admin a celebrity RPG called Stars Align if you’re interested. I promise you that all our players are absolute sweethearts. We’re kind of just a big happy family if you’re into that. We’re a reality TV based show with OCs. We would love to have you. I promise we’d welcome you with open arms.
Teenage/Young Adult RPG: If you’re looking for a some young adult characters, I think The King School is one of the best. They are wonderfully thought out and seem like a great group to join. Or if it’s a runaway Witness Protection sort of thing you’re after, you should check out Runaway Resort. I have RPed with the admins before and they are so dedicated and love their RPG. I also gave them a review, so read that if you’d like to find out more of my thoughts.
I hope that helped! If not, let me know what kind of RPG you’re interested in and I can find some more for you.
