#Happy2018 I grew up in a culture where NYE brought fear into my core, fear that I was never good enough & that the world would meet its violent end at midnight, because "surely God wouldn't make us see through another year"...I have had 8 NYE's since coming out of that culture & this is the first one that I have enjoyed without even considering those thoughts that used to consume my every NYE...I only just reflected on why I was so relaxed this year & why it felt different & worked out that was it... 2018 is already full of promise, purpose, new beginnings, challenge, extension, exhaustion, change & blessing, & I am so grateful that I have a love & confidence in God and His promises...I stayed faithful to my word of 20 years & He stayed true to His promises...I am so excited to see what purpose He has planned out for this new year & I hope you are encouraged to trust Him with yours...you know, those desires of your heart, He put them there...maybe it's time to start chasing them, maybe it's time to rest in Him, whatever your season is I pray it is blessed xXxXx #HappyNY2018 (at Victor Harbor, South Australia)
