Ingredients: 3 lbs pork ribs. 1 cup BBQ sauce. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp onion powder. 1/2 tsp smoked paprika. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. 1/2 cup water.
Instructions: Remove membrane from the back of the ribs. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Cut the ribs into manageable portions and coat them with the sauce mixture. Place the coated ribs in the crock pot. Pour water into the crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until ribs are tender. Optional: Preheat the broiler. Transfer ribs to a baking sheet, brush with additional BBQ sauce, and broil for a few minutes until caramelized. Serve the ribs with the remaining BBQ sauce on the side.
