yvonne: princess of the internetsphere, she’s the one who got everyone else into snapchat. before their breakup, myrah and yvonne would send each other the most surreal snaps, trying to outdo the other. myrah got a picture of her turning lead into gold? yvonne gets one of her and ba’al. no biggie. after they hit splitsville, yvonne starts talking to other people and she sends them all really creepy pictures, usually when she’s fighting the demons plaguing the city alongside her fav crew. but goddd. isaac had the misfortune of opening her video snap during his english class and had to calmly explain that he needed to leave class because his main source of income was fighting a siren.
she takes some really big risks, takin’ selfies with the lord of the flies and just, doing ridiculous shit. yvonne’s bff list is very competitive. the top 3 changes every other week tbh. her number one spot used to be solely myrah’s though.
isaac: isaac doesn’t have a smartphone until yvonne bequeaths upon him her old iphone. she’s got a custom set, no need for old stuff like that, here you go. isaac's relied on magic to send his messages about, or really simple flip phones, because he doesn’t really see the need for apps or stuff like that. it’s a phone for god’s sake, he doesn’t need to lug a miniature computer with him. however, once he gets snapchat (his username is just as boring as he is, isaacphillips01)
he snapchats his food or his current books. he doesn’t really snapchat his face, ever. unless it’s to give someone his signature disappointed glare. he realizes that he’s in other people’s snapchats more than he is in his own, like yvonne always has him in the background doing something really weird, like tying his shoe with one hand or readjusting his weird vest thing in front of store mirrors. markus loves taking pictures with him because he sends them to everyone he knows and people snap him back asking about the cute librarian. isaac’s bff list is yvonne. just yvonne because she snapchats him so much that it doesn’t matter if anybody else does.
aster: aster doesn’t have a snapchat despite having a phone that can download it because he’s a loser. party pooper. even julia has a snapchat. aster doesn’t like it and prefers texting, he sends rly great pictures of myrah to yvonne to spite her. in return, yvonne makes sure to always cut him off in her snaps. he’ll be a blurry little line in the corner somewhere, even the demon they’re fighting gets more pictures.aster’s bff list includes: yvonne, myrah, and isaac.julia: julia is the really good snapchatter who downloads all her pictures and puts them on instagram. everything she touches turns out really, really well. her selflies get at least 300 likes on insta. she takes a lot of nature shots and during the winter time when yvonne goes to her hockey games, snapchats of julia’s “game face” go viral. it’s the kind of face you see before you die, according to markus’s very astute observation. her best friends list includes markus, yvonne, and isaac. (yvonne’s on everybody’s bff list, whether they like it or not.)
markus: markus is the pretty boy who only snapchats his face or muscles. not that he has any, he’s a dancer, so he’s just lean and lovely, girls and boys are all over that beautiful face. he’s also the one who gets snapchatted the most, after isaac, usually mid-dance. during really tense battles, everyone’s phones will start beeping and they’ll open up the snap, and it’s usually from yvonne, capturing isaac doing a really soulful pose or just getting really lost in the music, they’re supposed to be really bad pictures but no one can. get a bad picture of him. it’s ridiculous.
his bffsie list includes julia, myrah, and aster.myrah: the snapchatting empress tbh during their time together, yvonne and myrah ruled the snapchatting game. their breakup meant trying to outdo the other in terms of ridiculous stunts. while yvonne prefers flashy pics over anything, myrah likes the subtle “god i wish i screencapped that” reaction. her pictures range from “just turning gold into lead lol ;)” to “sIRENS AINT SHIT BUT TRICKS AND H” because of the character limit. she’s very much all about adventure and risks, because that’s what yvonne’s all about, and they’re birds of a feather.they tend to be in each others pictures despite not, really, ever being aware of it. myrah’s bffsie list includes markus, aster, and yvonne. yvonne mostly because it’s actually impossible to get her off of her list. that’s what you get for exchanging 10k snapchats when you guys were dating.
myrah also screencaps every snapchat she gets, so she’s also their team’s historian in a way. if anyone wants to know about what other members were doing, they go to her.
