@letseatthestars That actually *instantly* reminded me of an old fic by scatter, have you ever read it? Anyway I think it’s definitely harder the more people there are to see your shadow. I feel like it’s just a lot more awkward & a longer adjustment period, though it also depends on who’s around; Yukiko can get closer to Chie since they’re already close friends, while Rise was surrounded by strangers; at the same time, Rise connects very easily with people. Naoto’s def worst off in most witnesses + most awkward person, and I def think Atlus needs to put more effort into integrating her into the group. I think the girls are very inviting, but we need more friendship!!!

@thalassarche YEAH, like, even her s.link wasn’t really about overcoming an issue, it was all about becoming stronger and being even more self-aware. Contrasted with Yusuke’s art crisis, Haru’s mistrust of people in her father’s company (which is understandable tbh, but I get why the s.link was pushing her to be open about her feelings), Ryuji’s UNRESOLVED GUILT, etc.

If you had the power to time travel, would you use it? If yes, how?

i sorta wanna say that - if this ability lets me interact with other people - i would use it to go back and alter things if i had seen something turn out badly and knew how to make it not happen

nothing major or anything, but like. if i saw someone carrying a tray of drinks slip up on something and proceed to spill the drinks they were carrying, then i’d go back in time to stop them from falling (by picking up what was on the floor or by giving the person a warning or whatever). it wouldn’t be anything big but it would improve someone’s day, y’know?

but like. for anything personal? nah. i’d be way too scared of accidentally making something worse by changing something that i did in the past. also it would alter where my life is currently and that’s not what i’m about. like, you wouldn’t be the person you are today if you always went back and stopped your mistakes from happening. learn from your past and all that, y’know

that said, if i could somehow overcome the paradox it would create, i would go back in time to stop myself from being born ^.~
