Crazy, Stupid, Love. - Glenn Ficarra, John Requa
Life keeps throwing battles at me, but I’m learning to fight back with courage and quiet strength
You ever talking to someone about your problems (which happens so rarely) and then realize your a total basket case and theres a reason you don’t go around talking about this stuff 😭
Just got my results back from my last assignment, and thus my subject. 89.5 out of 100 which should result in a high destinction! Not bad considering the subject ran through Christmas and New Year, I had to finish and hand in an assignment while being COVID sick, and that the final assignment was due in the middle of freak Australian floods, where I lost power and was flooded in for days.
What a fucking year it's been, and it's only march... No wonder I've been so stressed.
Honestly though, this is cause for a 11:30am glass of wine!
IDC, but the people saying they've had a "hard" year or are "traumatized" from COVID need to snap out of it. You are not traumatized, you had school in your pajamas, you worked from home, made tik toks and watched Netflix all day and got a check.
You know who's traumatized? Someone who actually got it, who almost died, who watched someone die. People home alone stuck with abusers.
Did someone come up to you without a mask? Cry me a river.
You didn't have a sweet 16? Can't go bar hopping? Can't go to campus to get high? Can't have prom to watch classmates fall over drunk?
Get over yourselves please. There are people who actually need therapy and you're in the way.
