A Child's Alphabet Grace Gabler Soft & hard C. This delightful Puffin Picture Book was designed by Grace Gabler as her exhibition piece whilst at The Royal College in Ambleside during the war and spotted by Noel Carrington. However, contemporary educationalists pointed out that as a teaching aid it had mixed 'hard' and 'soft' Cs and therefore was flawed.
