His aimless jogging had finally led him here, to a bench just outside one of District 006′s lush green parks. Gai had basically thrown himself onto the seat, feeling deflated and discouraged and not a bit closer to figuring out what the heck was going on.
“If it’s a trap and I’m going to be attacked...” he pouted as he drew his knees up to his chin, “I wish they’d hurry up and spring it already.” Not even the logical fear of being in mortal danger could overshadow the fact that Gai was just plain bored.
