Ricky knew he should stop watching the happy couple, that all he was doing was making himself more upset. But it was hard to look away from Nini looking so happy… So happy with someone that wasn’t him, someone who deserved her far more than he ever did. Ophelia’s words, though she probably doesn’t mean for them to, touch a nerve and make him feel slightly worse. Finally, he tore his gaze away and let out a long sigh. “Yeah, I know. I know.” He looked down a little, staring at his, mostly uneaten, food. “And it’s not like it matters, she’s not going to take me back anyways.” He said as though he’s not the one stupidly trying to chase after her.
