Help with hardsubbing needed.
*Sighs* This isn't really working...
I'm trying to make a hardsubbed version of an episode I have on my hard drive in .mkv format on Windows 7 Home Premium. The subtitle file is .ass, and when plugged into VLC, the subs work just fine... However, I'm trying to get it to hardsub and everything I've been trying for the past day has not worked at all. Could anyone give me suggestions known to work on Windows 7 Home Premium, please?
So I’m trying to add hardsubs to a video for a new karaoke - I’ve been trying for four days now~!
vdub was working just fine, but now none of the textsub filters work. They either just get errors, crash, or encode but don’t apply subs. I’ve tried a lot of different versions - maybe I’d have more luck with the filter that came with aegisub, but vdub just says there is no filter information so I’ll never know
xvid just doesn’t encode - it sits at 0%
I tried another thing that started with an “a”, but it crashes consistently. I can’t even get to encoding the video.
If only these programs ever updated ever they might be more stable and compatible with anything?
On top of that my Internet is somehow shittier than usual and my drivers remain completely broken so I can’t have Skype calls with friends, use any Bluetooth devices, or charge my phone
