Going platonic this time with Eijirou Kirishima! :D
Baby boi!! Precious boi!! Kirishima is a student in the hero course of UA High School, and his quirk is Hardening! Basically he’s able to make his entire body as hard as a rock, and if he pushes his quirk to the limit (Which he’s done once in the anime so far I think? Once or twice?), it reaches an ‘Unbreakable’ level, and makes him look more animalistic than human, and it’s really cool!!
This precious boy is obsessed with idea of manliness, thanks to his idol Crimson Riot, the Chivalrous Hero! Kiri is the only one who is able to get Bakugo to even somewhat listen to him because Kiri is right by his side and doesn’t try to change him (beyond the occasional reminder for him to tone it down sometimes), and is always right there, trying to keep up, and usually succeeding!!
Despite the fact he’s smiling almost all the time and seems generally confident, he’s actually pretty insecure. He almost didn’t apply to UA, not thinking that he’d be good or strong enough to be a hero since his quirk isn’t flashy or anything, and in middle school he was too scared to intervene and help some schoolmates who were being intimidated by a villain. But after that incident and hearing an interview with Crimson Riot about how he’s scared all the time as a hero but keeps going, Kirishima worked so hard to get into UA, and had one of the highest scores of examinees! Even if he’s not as book smart as some of his classmates, he’s ABSOLUTELY smart to have gotten into UA in the first place, and he’s extremely emotionally intelligent! I can speak Bakugo after all :P
He ends up interning with Fatgum, and makes great strides in his confidence by still moving to try and help protect him during a big fight, even though it really messed him up. But he’s just- such a good boi!!!!
I absolutely have the idea of him accidentally calling my s/i Mai, or Monarch as he’d know her first, ‘Momarch’. Either as a joke or completely on accident, because she absolutely tries to play mom-friend to him and Tamaki. She can understand their insecurity after all, but she also knows that with just a little bit of confidence, these boys will do absolutely AMAZING things!!!!
Oh!! Fun fact because glancing up at the gif again (Baaaaaby boi), the scar above his right eye came from when he first got his quirk at around age 4! He was crying and tried to rub at his eye, but his hand hardened and scratched himself on accident, making him cry more and come to hate his quirk. And he tried to stand up to bullies in middle school, but no one took him seriously. But his later friend, Mina Ashido, was able to diffuse bully situations and get everyone to get along with ease, AND was the one to help save the schoolmates from the villain I mentioned earlier. And Kiri’s natural hair color is black!
Okay, made some progress on ship names! Gonna go through and make the necessary edits, BUT!
