Tile and flooring wonderland at Floor & Decor

I recently visited the brand spanking new Floor & Decor in Skokie with the Chicagonista crew.

As I mentioned on the blog, I suspect that home renovation is in my future, which is both exciting and paralyzing. It's all so overwhelming, right? I'm glad I found out about Floor & Decor, because their selection and prices were seriously impressive, as was their service.

For example. We do not have a backsplash. Do you know why? It's because every tile store I've visited in the past nine years has zero customer service. I don't know...maybe I'm looking in the wrong places?

The Floor & Decor designers were so nice, plus it's a free service. I've gotten to old (read: cranky) to deal with people who give me a vague grunt when I ask a question.
