Huevember Day 28--Njordr's grandma (on her dad's side) and mom (on her mom's side)
Sooooo. This is Hariasa (norse valkyrie/goddess name that either means ‘devastate’ or ‘oh girl that hair is fine’ paraphrasing). In the RP she’ll be in, her mother will be Freyr’s Jotunn wife Gerdr, but not as Freyr’s daughter. Another OC Ciria is Freyr’s son with someone else, so, stepsibling assholes.

Overlooked Beings: Hariasa
Hariasa is a goddess that (so far as I'm aware) was only attested to on one stone from 187 CE found in Cologne, Germany that bore a Latin incription to her. The stone has since been lost. Scholar Rudolf Simek has proposed that Hariasa's name is derived from the proto-Germanic Herjaza. This is related to the Old Norse verb herja, which basically means "to go harrying or freebooting, wage war". It's also been proposed that Hariasa may mean "goddess with lots of hair". It is uncertain whether Hariasa is related to or identical with Herja, a valkyrie mentioned in Nafnaþulur.
To Hariasa
I call to swift and certain Hariasa, fair-tressed battle-maid, great lady of the lowlands, mistress of the snow-fed Rhine. Hariasa, goddess of the borderland, steadfast watchwoman, keen-eyed one, ever-wary, ever-faithful, unflinching, unyielding champion of tribe and kin, once was your might well known, your name well honored, your tales told by firelight to wide-eyed youth and maid, once were carven stones raised to you by those who knew your blessings. Hariasa who guards the gate against all foes, who favors the bold and the righteous, I offer you my words of reverence and praise.
