Just wanted to share an experience. I helped a Petco open last month and thank god, they are finally starting to hire better workers. Everyone who buys a betta at that store is getting proper advice. Sadly shipping boxes are still horrifying. (1/2)
(2/2)I managed to save a lil guy who was barely breathing out of the box - his name is Archie. Point is, suppliers are even worse than the stores! The best workers can't even do much for already sick bettas. Tackling the source is just as important.

A lot of bettas do have a rough time during shipping, yeah. That’s always a tough one to tackle, too.
