I have not watched the new season of YJ but fuck am I glad I got on tumblr today because kaldur deserves to be happy! he deserves and earned every bit of joy and happiness and peace that comes his way. it has taken SEVERAL LONG years for someone to be like 'hey you, I see you. you're fucking great' I'm really emotional and trying not to cry
I’m not even trying not to cry. When Dolphin DID THAT I had to pause and literally lay down on my floor and make whale noises for a few minutes. My roommate was concerned, but only mildly because he’s learned that when YJ is involved this is…normal behavior.
Greg is finally starting to share Kaldur’s life with the viewers, and I really hope that trend keeps going. We haven’t gotten this kind of insight into his life since Downtime, honestly, and I still have a lot of questions. Does he go home to Atlantis when he leaves duty hours now? Have he and his parents TALKED about the whole undercover as Manta’s right hand thing? How the fuck did he and Wyynde of all people end up together? Most importantly, for me at least: Is Dolphin, this perfect stranger with the APPARENTLY MAGICAL ability to read basic facial expressions, going to be a big part of Kaldur’s life? His protege maybe? Little sister figure?
If Greg does what I half suspect he’ll do–offer us this brief, incomplete but emotionally satisfying insight and then cut us off again completely from Kaldur’s inner and personal lives–I’m gonna be mad. Not surprised. But mad.
