Days Go By || Friday & Harlow
@harlow-ackerman
Friday’s been at the Estate since the raid, and she realizes suddenly how few people she’s seen since then. They’re all here -- or rather, most of them are here. So it’s a testament to how much of a shut-in she’s been that she hasn’t seen more than a handful of people since she got here.
She feels guilty for having locked herself away; she’d been trying to find Rhys, trying to force a drawing or a vision or something, but that doesn’t mean she was right to abandon her family. And while that’s still a foreign concept to her -- having people who care about her and want her to be safe and happy -- it’s one she likes. She owes them all, all the Initiative members who’ve checked in on her and made sure she’s taken care of herself. But there’s one person in particular she needs to see. To apologize to.
Finding Harlow takes longer than she wants, but eventually she stumbles upon the other girl. Timidly she knocks on the doorframe to get her attention.
“H-hi, Harlow. Um. I--. Do you--? H-hi.”
