can we please stop shipping Criminal Minds characters with their abusers?? the amount of times ive seen JJ shipped with Voit, Hotch shipped with Foyet, Emily shipped with Doyle, and (i see this one the most often) Reid with Cat?

need i remind you all that Voit made deepfake pornography of JJ using the footage from her years as communications liaison? Foyet not only killing Hotch’s ex wife but almost killing his son, and sexually assaulting Hotch (i know this isn’t outright stated but it is heavily implied) in the process of hunting them? Doyle sexually abusing Emily, followed by killing her (even if temporary)? Cat arranging to have Spencer sexually assaulted (with the intent on getting her pregnant), framing him for murder, having his mother abducted and almost killed, sexually assaulting him again (this time in front of his girlfriend) all for her own personal entertainment? you’re all disgusting.

♫ | hi, lovelies!! so sorry for being so inactive again, i feel like the ao3 curse is getting to me and i don’t even fucking write on ao3 😭. i am SO incredibly behind on my writing, but i fully intend to catch up and get everything out!

Spencer, my baby, ran across a dog bone on Christmas Eve and split open his hind right leg — in turn severing an artery. had to take him to the emergency vet, and they gave him painkillers and antibiotics. he’s doing great now, and is healing up nicely (he’s like the sweetest cat ever, still kneading and acting like himself) but i needed to prioritize him healing over writing. before that, i had a horrible respiratory / sinus thing, which led me to fall behind when it comes to writing my 12 Days of Kinkmas ficlets.

with that being said, there’s so many things i have planned and promised, and i wanna publish things that i know will be enjoyed. so id love for some input!

wait im definitely not a Reid hater but all else applies lmao 😭😭 i HATEEEEEEE when people ship any character with their abuser (Doyle x Prentiss, JJ x Voit, Hotch x Foyet, etc etc) but it genuinely appalls me that Cat x Spencer is such a common ship. i will die on the hill that it’s literally only because both Aubrey and MGG are conventionally attractive (ofc they have chemistry too, they’re friends IRL but that does not by any means justify shipping their characters)
