JARRE "HARMONICA" PISTOL A group of six, rifled, engraved, 7 mm cal. barrels in one block, the base marked "A. JARRE" and "300"; iron frame engraved with floral motifs, central pin-cock; curved trigger, ebony grip scales (small defects and parts missing). Tightened ramrod on the back.

More weird steampunk guns that were actually made.  I present to you the Jarre Harmonica Pistol, a 9mm pinfire pistol, 10 shots in a harmonica style magazine mounted horizontal to the pistol.  Late 19th Century, very rare.

Harmonica Pistol A percussion lock ‘Harmonica pistol’ developed in the 1830s, these unusual guns by-passed the burgeoning revolver concept and opted for a horizontal mounted manual sliding magazine. Really rather cumbersome weapons, difficult to use and carry comfortably.
