I've just gotta be the luckiest girl in the world," Though she says that, it's clear from the sarcasm practically dripping from her tone that she doesn't mean it. Well, whatever. Cipher isn't shy about pulling him along, nose upturned as she does her best to in attempting to sniff out their prize: a mnemos flower. Unfortunately for him, though, the only thing she's managed to get them is lost.

"Well, that's great. Looks like the ole' finder is off its game," she says, finally letting go of his hand to place her hands on her hips. "Say, those head wings don't happen to have some sorta special ability that could help us out, do they?"

" No, look, you're buckling it wrong–" and before Sunday can even protest, Stelle shoos his hands away, fixing the belts and buckles on the front of the life vest the event coordinators handed them to wear. she had to first get him to get rid of his long coat (why he was wearing it when it was close to triple digit temperatures was beyond her) but it's tucked aside somewhere safely. the last buckle clips and she gives it a once around to make sure everything was secure. the last thing they needed was the life vest failing and if Robin ended up in the city, the last thing she needed was having to tell his sister she almost ended up killing her brother–

" Okay now just get on. Don't worry, you're not gonna fall." she shoos him forward with her hands before turning to hop onto her own jet ski. was this perhaps the best thing to drag Sunday too....? maybe not, but as the only other Astral Express member here, she felt it was her duty to keep her eye on him. that and she wanted to see how handled some normal fun.

" Okay, now, that lanyard attached to your wrist? It has the key so stick it into the ignition and turn it on. " she does what she just said, revving her own jet ski a few times. " Now follow me out the starting line!" and she pushes on the throttle, the jet ski roaring to life as she drove toward the racetrack starting line.

mistwood: a midsummer night...

TO THINK THERE WAS SOMETHING SO LOVELY HERE, nestled away within the dreary forest of the mistwoods. flames flicker to illuminate the darkness, food to offer and drinks to spare for all those whom thirst and hunger. in some ways, it was certainly charming, something newfound to find in this strange new world. so many were in merriment that, truthfully, the man who stands before the bonfires stands out 一 not even due to his appearance, but how he seems to stare at them.

it only serves to draw jack's attention toward him, walking over with a friendly smile. ❝ Eh? Are you thinking of jumping over the fires? ❞ he offers a small chuckle, uncertain if he'd presumed wrong.

❝ They say if you jump over one of the fires, you will remain in good health for the rest of the year... ❞ it was a true fact, something jack need not lie about, as the smile on his lips spread. ❝ You see, I was determined to try it for myself! Only I thought about my braid catching fire. Ah, do you think they would allow me to tie it around me first? ❞
