A handful of our fruits and other foods have gained sentience. The Apples beg for death on a near constant base, especially the Red Delicious.
The pre-prepared popcorn cheers and applauds as it is eaten. It’s either the acceptance of death or some kind of right of passage, we’re leaning towards the latter.
And The peaches have become an Apex Predator that resides in the far of jungles. Learn to sleep with one eye open, it’s safer that way.
