Wenclair Family Art Portfolio

My collection of Wednesday and Enid fan art for the fanfiction series by @wenclairfamily which you can find here. *I've always been my own harshest critic when it comes to my art work. It's not something I do as a job, but it has been a fun hobby of mine for years. I never considered publishing my work, until I learned how to use AI to take my pencil sketches and add ink lines, color, and backgrounds to my drawings. Since I had never been good with anything but line work before, the use of AI on my hand drawn character sketches has allowed me to push my art to the next level.

I've been a long time fan of the Wednesday fanfiction series by @wenclairfamily, and love her depiction of a married Wednesday and Enid, along with them having two teenage children of their own: Harmony and Ana. I love how both Harmony and Ana have a little of each of their mothers inside of them... and yet are completely fully formed and unique characters of their own. I'm also a HUGE fan of the relationship between Harmony Addams and her girlfriend Megan; which I find to be so pure, so real, and so romantic! Being the first to draw art of them together as being so freeing, so therapuetic, and so pleasing to do!

Also, I just LOVE drawing Harmony Addams's hair. She may have her hair in braids like Wednesday, but I just enjoy showing how her hair has a little more style, and love doing so many variations to how those braids and the rest of her hair looks. It's just the perfect blend of how Wednesday and Enid's styles work.

*To be clear, due to the controversy surrounding AI; I want to make it clear that I was not given any money for creating this art work. Until such a time comes that certain specific AI programs are accepted and allowed to create art work that can be sold, for now: I am keeping this strictly as a hobby.

The Future Wenclair Family

Wednesday and Enid about 20 years from now with their teenage daughters: Harmony Addams, and Ana "Anarchy" Addams. Below are the photos of each family member by themselves.

To be clear, I did not just push a button in an AI program to make these. The individual Wednesday and Enid photos actually did take just a few minutes with some AI software I found. However for Wednesday and Enid's daughters: first I used an AI program to try to make a blend of Wednesday and Enid's faces, but still look unique with some different features (that took about 20 tries). Then using their faces, I asked another AI program to make bodies for those faces using very specific instructions. I was actually trying to recreate the body positions and clothes they had in the drawing I use for my profile picture), but this proved to be very difficult; so I eventually settled on the best results I got after OVER 200 attempts. Then, I used another program I had to merge the AI photos together over stock photos. Needless to say, this took about eight hours. AI is a great tool, but it's still not easy to use.

I also made another attempt awhile ago to use AI to make a picture of Wednesday and Enid with their kids when they were younger. However most AI programs don't let you create images of children (for good reason), so the work around I used with another program resulted in something I wasn't too pleased with. However upon using a filter I found, it wound up improving the image into an interesting style that I felt was at least acceptable.

*To be clear: I did not put my picture drawn by @emeriart through an AI filter. I actually had to spend hours trying to get multiple AI programs to come only a little close to what her amazing art work could pull off (I tried to replicate it perfectly, but alas: the above result was the best I could do). AI can create some pretty amazing and unexpected things, but it's still very difficult to get EXACTLY what you need from it. Also, real artists can still give you some impressive new ideas no program can. I've actually already asked @emeriart to help me make some new Addams Family related art for a future project I'm working on, so make sure you're following me, so you don't miss out on that.

Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair's Children: Harmony and Anarchy Addams

Some fun little fun pieces I did for my friend who runs the @wenclairfamily blog. She writes an amazing series featuring a married Wednesday and Enid who have their own two crazy teenage girls!

Also, one of Wednesday and Enid's kids dates a girl named Megan in the aforementioned fanfiction series, so I did pictures of her too...

To be transparent: I based Megan's appearance off actress Ruth Righi (most well known for Disney Channel's Sydney to the Max).

To also be very transparent - I didn't create the original designs for Harmony and Ana "Anarchy" Addams. The very first picture featuring them was created by @emeriart (as seen in the middle picture above). My friend on her @wenclairfamily blog then used multiple AI programs to create live action versions of Harmony and Ana (to the and right above). Then I worked off those live action models to create pictures of the two girls looking a little older. Hope you all like!
