Qualquer que seja a atitude que, diante de Jesus Cristo, se adote, não se pode deixar de reconhecer que na História, foi Ele quem elevou a Humanidade a esta altura.

Jesus loves me this I know, for Karl Barth tells me so. I also know the theological Gordian knot can only be cut by the one who has passed through the doctrinaire labyrinth of the Dogmatics. He is like the salmon swimming upstream; the turd in the punchbowl; the theological blast that levels everything in its radius; the divine hound who sets the buzzards of Harnack alight from the theological tree of life; the anodyne for the sickly Church; the thunder of God's lightening. I'm like good old Karl in every way, sans the prayer and the infidelity. Like Karl and Kirschbaum, lets have a romance for the greater good of Christ's name. In him I know that others' judgment of me has been judged in Christ. In him I know that, just as with God, hidden in the female "nein!" is the loving "yes." If only Jesus had taken my sin and my acne with him upon that cross. Nonetheless, I am Prometheus. Barth is the fire. Let us descend to the Church.
