me this morning hearing that the rays dfa’d a beloved player with the highest batting average in franchise history (for someone with over 1000 at bats) to make room to bring up a sub-par shortstop (we already have one) while keeping a catcher with a (double-checks mlb website) 0.047 batting average who, in addition to being incapable of hitting the ball, can’t stop making critical defensive mistakes!

once again begging mlb to add a position for hype guy who doesn’t play. i want siri to stay with the rays, mess around in the dugout, hug guys who hit homers, and maybe act as stylist for some of the players lacking in rizz, but i do not really want him on the field.
