Day 5 of Hetaween event : Graveyard - monster hunters - raven

"Roderick! Cover my back!" Elizabetta yelled as she fired her harquebus, a silver bullet meeting with an animated skull who fell on the ground.
"There are more coming!" shout Roderick when he fended another of the monsters away.
The long last couple was experienced and knew exactly how to coordonate their fighting style.
Because Nations had a lot more responsabilities than what their leader though of.
In the day, Hungary and Austria would deal with politics, with battle.
But at night, they were devolved to a complete different task, as they were the most 'sensitive' about what would happen in their lands, including surnatural apparitions.
In the dark times, most country personifications would associate with each other, unbeknownst to all, even dire ennemies. Because paranormal creatures were much more a thread than their usual quarrel.
In Europe, they called the society "Raven", and used the term as a secret signal (with quite litteral trained ravens to deliver messages, except for France and Gilbert who obstinated to use Pierre and Gilbird respectively).
"These are only its minions. We need to find the necromancer, he mustn't be too far from here..."
Meaning they had to pass through its army of devilish undead servitors spawning fastly around them, in the dark.
Austria sighted. He dreamed of his cabinet, his unacheived composition he was eager to finish, his piano longing for him and his warm padded bed.
Tonight, he definitively wouldn't have the time to play and it hightly stressed him to change his habbit.
But hey, they were there now. There was no backing down.
"- Ok, lead the way, my dear."
Without looking at each other, they both knew the other sour smiled. And then, the two engaged a long, long fight.

It will be my last Hetaween 2025 participation I think, but it was really fun! Next year, I should have more time and motivation than this year, were a lot happened for me irl!
