Born on the Hawaiian paradise Island of O’ahu, he was the son of a fairly well off family. His father was an aircraft engineer at Hickam Air Force Base, and his mother had passed during childbirth. With his father being as busy as he was, Harrison spent much of his time with his babysitter, Aolani. She taught him Native Hawaiian customs that had been taught to her when she was a child.
He and Aolani were very close, she was the older sister he never had. So even after he had become an appropriate age to take care of himself, she stuck around. She would pick him up and take him to her family functions, so much so that soon he became somewhat a staple in her family. Whenever something was going on, Harrison was asked to come along.
Aolani’s brother, Kahiau had especially taken to Harrison. Kahiau was a fire performer at a local resort, and from the moment Harrison saw him perform, he felt a sense of freedom. There was a thrill to watching it for sure, but Harrison had to learn. From the time he was 14 he was taught by Kahiau how to spin dragon staves and eventually how to breathe fire. By the age of 18 he was performing with Kahiau.
When Harrison performed, he felt reborn. Like a phoenix born from its own ashes. He knew that this was the life for him. He had never felt so free, and he surprisingly made a decent chunk of money for his talents. That was until his dad got sick in the winter of 2020. The doctors said that the decades of breathing in the fumes at work had done irreparable damage, and there was nothing they could do. He tried his hardest the better part of a year to work and take care of his ailing father.
One day shortly after his 23rd birthday, Harrison’s father grabbed his sleeve from his bed and told him something that he would never forget. “Get out of here son, live your life, you’re far too young to be expected to take care of me.” Despite Harrison’s vehement insistence on staying, his father had arranged hospice for himself. He would be made comfortable until his departure, but he would not let his son see him in such an enfeebled state. The next evening, he was on a plane bound for Australia.
Harrison’s plan was a simple one (or so he thought). He would live where he was comfortable, an island off the mainland called Magnetic Island. He had spent his life surrounded by water, so it seemed to be the option with the fewest changes. On the Island he would work as a fire performer for a resort. However upon his arrival, he found the best he could do was an adult club (the White Island hotel “did not have use for his skill set”, whatever that means). Though it wasn’t what he expected, he found himself comfortable rather quickly. He would strut around the island like he owned it. In short, he thought he was the shit.
Personality
-Harrison is the best at what he does, or so he says. He doesn’t give a moment for his skills to dull. He pushes boundaries of what is expected of him or rather what he is instructed to do. For this reason, he spends a lot of time practicing, and keeping himself in peak physical condition with hiking (often with his dog, Brutus), martial arts, and going to the gym for weights.
-Harrison very much values giving attention, especially if it means he is going to receive it in return. He is a flirt and hypes people up, but mainly for the benefit of his own pride. He gravitates toward people in general, but especially those who are more easy going and friendly.
-He is very emotionally unavailable behind his gregarious facade. He doesn’t talk much about his life before moving to Magnetic Island. He may make reference to Aolani or Kahiau, but never a mention of his father or childhood. Though he is open to flirtationships, not seeing any harm as long as he doesn’t have to open himself up too much.
Wanted Connections
The secret ex- Growing up as the son of a conservative military father, Harrison knew his dad would never understand their relationship. When the secret ex found out that Harrison wouldn’t tell his father, things ended.

Level-headed friend- Someone who is supposed to be a good influence on Harrison, but never seems to be able to get through to him. This person has watched Harrison make some questionable decisions in his time on the island, and tries to help, but convincing Harrison to not do a bad thing is almost impossible.

Casual flirtationship(s)- Harrison is a major flirt and will find himself entangled in a few flirtationships at any one time. He is open and honest about not wanting anything serious or committed. Whether or not that point is accepted by the other party is UTP.
