@roseszirnheld tagged me this week, it's her birthday so go show her some love.
Here's a quick snippet from a much MUCH longer project, that I'm working on with @phoenix3x0 ,it's part of a letter from the og simp, Harry Welsh, to Kitty.
My Dearest Kitty, I don't know when this letter will find you my love but I felt I must update you on the goings on of Easy Company. We are still in England awaiting the next steps of what Winters calls the "upcoming initiative" I don't know what I'd call it but we've spent most of our time here marching through fields and memorizing information. I find myself playing cards with my fellow officers most nights. A lieutenant from another company, Fox or Dog, somehow managed to find a very fine sliver candlestick to add to the pot. I unfortunately was beat out for it quite thoroughly. That might have been for the best considering the dubious origins of the thing, the lieutenant is reportedly a telekinetic of considerable strength. And while I know you loathe the sterotypes it does make me wonder. Meanwhile most of the guys have spent their free evenings drinking and 'dancing' with the local ladies. While these Brits are pretty enough, I find that none could compare to you. While that may seem like flattery, you must know that comes from the most genuine depths of my heart. I find myself constantly turning to you, for advice or a laugh, and constantly am reminded just how far you are.
