Taylor described both Coney Island and Exile as "Two Ships passing in the Night" to WFPK. Harry's ship tattoo is included in videos for IKYWT and on the Falling Piano.
The Style Taymoji pack also included a wave and the description was "The tides are waves caused by the gravitational pull of the moon."

alright, imma just say this and then imma shut the hell up bc i don't care about this anymore, but, say that tattoo really does say "olivia":
lots of tattoos are meaningless on this man, he has SO many from so many places and people, like, congrats, she ranks right up there with the Packers logo and a steamed dumpling.
similarly, on someone who *does* have clearly meaningful tattoos, he chose to get one of her name that is... shittily done, boring, and nearly always hidden? not like his sister or mom, inked on his shoulders; not like his godchildren, on his arm; not like the rose or the ship or the butterfly which *cough* seem to correspond to equally meaningful and ornate tattoos on his bandmate. like, say they were a real couple - if were her, i'd be pissed! LOL
much like louis' E, there's plausible deniability, which always amuses me. maybe louis' E is for "edward"; maybe harry's "olivia" is for the 1D song. like... i just find it funny.
Has H ever said why he only has tattoos on his left arm? (Other than the eagle of course) Or does the Fandom have theories as to why?

No he's never explained. He rarely says anything about anything. "It's just a boat".
He used to have the tattoos "things I can" and "things I can't" on each arm. He covered them up since. But his "blank" arm was the "things I can" tattoo (now covered by the eagle). His tattooed arm had "things I can't" (now covered by the bible).
So fandom theorized that the "things he can't" included what all of his tattoos signified, the majority of them being complementary tattoos with Louis. And his blank arm was the "things he could", and it was mostly blank because there was little he could.
He covered up "things I can" with the eagle, a very accepted symbol for freedom. And "things I can't" with the Bible, which can be interpreted as a symbol of oppression, particularly for a queer person.
Now he also has Mary (for his grandma I believe) tattooed above his eagle and the rarely seen palm tree behind his elbow. The palm tree is a matching tattoo with Gemma I think.
