My plan has always been the same - I will always use my position to try and give a platform to people like you.

Walking With the Wounded’s Expedition Patron, Prince Harry, has a special message for the Walk of America Team on the final day of their epic 1,000 mile journey:
Hi guys and congratulations! One thousand miles, it’s amazing, what an incredible achievement.
Right now, you probably couldn’t feel further from that London hotel where we met a few months ago. You’re probably a lot more exhausted, too. But think about the journey you’ve been on, from that moment in June. When we met, I could sense that, although there was a little nervousness, there was a determination in every single one of you. None of you were going to let a small task of walking more than 1,000 miles get in your way.
Kev, Kenzie, Johnny, Frankie, Adele, Larry - every mile that you have covered, every step you have taken, have been a demonstration of hope and courage, and also the partnership of our two nations. We have spent lifetimes working together, fighting alongside each other, and protecting each other - and it is through people like you that we can look at new ways of recovering together, too. It may be an overused cliche, but we genuinely are stronger together, and you are the proof of that.
I’ve been following your journey along the way and I am so grateful for everything that you guys have done, and the stories that you’ve shared. Your honesty and openness is an inspiration to so many. You’ve battled the heat, covered incredible terrain, and camped in challenging isolation. You’ve come into contact with bears, narrowly avoided rattlesnakes, and - no matter what - you’ve managed to keep going. And it also sounds like you’ve had quite a lot of fun as well.
When we took on the Walk of Britain a couple of years ago, the welcome the American veterans were given across the UK was fantastic. In America, you have welcomed our British veterans with equal warmth and generosity, so thank you.
Finally, to everyone involved in this walk - support teams, the families, and friends - thank you.
And to the six incredible veterans - you have all carried the whole veteran community with you on this journey. You have done us proud.
Well done, and thank you.
She’s capable of anything.

We have to put the power into the hands of the younger generation, because that's where the solutions are going to come from, that's where the passion and engagement is coming from as well. There is a generational gap in pretty much every problem that we have at the moment. But, the younger generation, they not only have the solutions but they have the capability to be able to solve these problems in a much shorter period.
