Looking at it from a non-fan point, I think it’s interesting how relatable and laddy lad Louis is being painted - and very opposite of Harry, what his promo painted him as. It’s like purposefully picking out opposite roles.
To be fair, we know what we think the boys are like and love them as they are but I feel we often forget how bloody hard it is to come from a gigantic boy band and try to break it solo. Looking at how all 4 of them are currently striving and how they have successfully won over GP with different tactics (some having it easier than others due to being more unrecognisable), it’s amazing - this doesn’t happen with most boyband members. They did and do have a lot of hearts and wallets to win over, and I think setting certain roles (especially for Harry and Louis) is a good business and marketing decision, though I personally (as a more invested fan) am not 100% celebrating all of it.
Also, having a public role on is probably remarkably beneficial at times for your actual privacy and mental health.
