one of these nights,
@lgcharu
ah yes, that lovely old cafeteria collision. the place was actually deathly empty in fact, other than one other occupant. he supposed the time was tight, usually in between classes and evening practice, making it that perfect period of abandonment of the food areas due to it being an odd hour. but of course, there was nothing traditional about the schedule trainees got placed on. tightly packed, and oddball hours, lacking sleep. that’s how he felt now, hyunjin felt haggard, and lacking sleep, having to study for exams. hated it, but one must go on.
he supposes, it both looks bad if there was the choice to sit away from the other trainee. not fond of alienation, but also not the most fond of newer trainees due to the fear of competition eating him whole, hyunjin meekly stands with food in hand, looking at the span of free spots, and the one occupied slot.
it’s not as if he has anything against haru, not at all. but - it doesn’t change the fact that he was getting horribly territorial, his own self-confidence manifesting into this horrible beast of jealousy and comparatives. nobody’s fault but his own mind. yea, that’s glorious.
“hello, haru.” he sits, probably startling the other a little, by the sheer fact that the two had not often had conversations if any at all, as he sifts through his memory. “hope you don’t mind if i join you?”
