Before that post about artists in the PJO fandom drawing Piper with her stomach out, I hadn’t seen much art that way.
Now I’m seeing at LEAST one piece a day. The one I just saw had Piper with a weird half shirt on and gold bands around her stomach, Annabeth with Nonexistent Shorts and her stomach out, and Hazel in a belly dancer’s wrap skirt (the kind with coins/janglies that jangle when you shake y’know) and HER STOMACH OUT!!!
It makes me feel the same way I do whenever someone draws the PJO peeps with veiny bulging muscles and defined 6-8 pack abs like JESUS GUYS!!!!! ESPECIALLY FRANK LEAVE HIM ALONE

I've now tried to make those amazing looking Norwegian butter cookie bars twice, and managed to screw them up both times.
First time, I waited until the edges were just getting golden, which wound up being fairly overcooked and halfway to burnt tasting.
This time, I pulled them when the edges were juuuuust taking color, and they're not all the way cooked.
At least they taste better this time.
Thankfully, I had a second dessert planned for tomorrow's party - once the dishes are dry, I get to start faffing around melting chocolate so I can dip berries.

I don't WANNA make more dishes! Waaaaah! (Only because I'm the one that's gotta wash 'em.)
….it's 8:00. Maybe I'm just bringing berries and grapes and calling it good. We can stop for a jar of microwave hot fudge on the way there, and it can be a DIY thing.
spent all my energy for writing today on going down rabbit holes to check my shitty wikipedia research hadn't led to me saying anything completely unjustifiable and like it hadn't so now my plans are exactly the same just one day in the future :/
