i get that it is fundamentally true. and i get that its just her drawing a comparison in a way thats light hearted… but i do wish my mom would not make the little joke thing she does about me being the easy child at first and then swapping out with my sister as we got older while im in the room… since… y’know… the thing that made me difficult was becoming suicidal when i was 13.

and like… yeah! its absolutely gotta be super hard to be a mom who lives her kids so so much and find out one of them fully wants to die! but it kinda feels like ‘haha! remember when you’d read up on every religion you could and pray to a new god each night to kill you, ideally in a severely painful way since you thought you were fundamentally evil and actively hurting us by virtue of existing near us? that sucked for me lol’

and it sticks in my brain and i spiral. like now. rood.
