i just saw both Transformers One and The Wild Robot yesterday. if you had to guess, which robot movie do you think is a surprisingly emotional adventure about a robot enduring the highs and lows of an intimate social bond while exploring the role between the individual and the collective as it discovers its place in its community, featuring gorgeous animation, stirring music, oh and also shocking amounts of violence, including just barely off screen *dismemberment and beheading* (separate instances)?

Believe it or not it's both. While the beheading itself is *technically* off screen, the head is shown separately from the body in both movies. The dismemberment is basically on screen but visible parts are blurred via deep focus. Both of these instances are drama in transformers, but in wild robot they are portrayed as comedy.

Really great movies though!!! Please see both!!!! I really liked the themes exploring the ways relationships function, both between two individuals and between an individual and the greater whole, and I don't want to overstate how impactful they were emotionally, especially with some really powerful vocal performances.

I’ve been reading the MTMTE series lately and have fallen madly in love with Brainstorm.

Ratchet is always my favorite no matter the series, so I threw him in there too. Someday I’ll have to draw him with Drift, but today is not that day.
