SLGT ASK GAME!!!
This question is for Reynold Morgan
#3: What is your Sim the most afraid of?
For the SLGT Ask Game
I love this question and choice of character combined. You could not have asked this for a better character haha, /genuine If there's anyone who's permanently in a torment cloud, it's Reynold.
Reynold's biggest fear is his own 'other side' - his 'wolf', which at the beginning of Divided he often talks about as if it is a separate part of himself, and not part of a whole which he has to take responsiblity for to some extent no matter how comfortable that is. Reynold has no control over what he does in his wolf form, and very little memory of it. Generally, werewolves are safe around people they know and get along with as humans. Reynold usually only kills witchfinders in wolf form, which is a part of why some people aren't bothered by him being one. However, his father was worried about raising his son and teaching him the wolf, torn between embracing the wolf and also the religion of Peterism, and so didn't teach him. He partook in the Bloodmoon conflict (vampires + werewolves + witches vs. witchfinders), and the violence tied to the wolf was something he didn't want his son to have to deal with, IIRC. All this did was cause him to completely lose control when he got very angry at one point - and the resulting first turn into a wolf nearly killed his sister, who still bears the scars. Reynold does not want a repeat of that, and it is always in the back of his mind, worrying what he may have done as a wolf. The other part of this is that Reynold was the favourite child out of himself and his twin sister Clementia, born without magic and therefore not a werewolf. Full moons often cause severe anger in mooncasters, and Clem just had to take it all her life because her parents just said it wasn't his fault and never got him to learn to rein it in at all. My brother isn't violent but this was inspired by my own relationship with my brother, which we have gotten along for many years, but he was always allowed to say whatever he wanted
He fears for the safety of his daughter, who has his magic, and is born during an era of witch-hunts.
The mooncasters are dying out - it's implied the Morgan family are the last of them. As well as of course worrying about the extinction of the werewolves, he worries about the lies people will spread about his kind once they are not around to say that the claims are not true.
He fears what people will think of him when they find out he is a werewolf.
