hashingtoelesslancers reblogged your post:Tu étudies le français ???? Moi aussi ! C'est...
Hahaha ok, ok. Well if you can understand anything after not really studying for 10 years then good job! Good luck with...
I was really good at French when I studied it! I should never have let it go tbh but then when I transferred to a different university, I decided to study Irish (because of the other stuff I was studying) and then when I knew I would be going to Japan I picked up Japanese again (after studying it a little as a teenager). My gifts with languages are pronunciation and the reading/writing systems so I got the hiragana and katakana pretty easily (kanji is a whole different ballgame...omg kanji like WHY it's so beautiful and I love kanji BUT THERE'S SO MANY and when I was living there the first time I had a problem with my eyes and the principal at my school was 100% convinced it was from all the kanji I was studying, no lie) and I can remember words and things in other languages but omg my grammar. It's awful. I can't do grammar to save my life.
(Also I live near Canada...we have bilingual signs up in the city an hour from me.)
